After the success of the events in Rome and Domusnovas, in Sardinia, he arrives in Naples «Sports Power Tour», a traveling event in four stages, born from the Sport Power project with which Sport Senza Frontiere, with the support of Enel Cuore, the non-profit organization of the Enel Group, and the social enterprise «With the children», is aimed at young people aged 6 to 17 to guarantee everyone access to sport as a fundamental right.
From May 11th and for two consecutive weekends, the Sport Power minibus will transport its “magic trunk”, full of games and sports equipment, to the Oratory of the Basilica Santa Maria della Neve in Piazza Vincenzo Aprea, 2.
It will be possible to participate in the event at the following times: Saturday 11th and 18th May from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, Sunday 12th and 19th May from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
The activities in the Naples stage will also be organized thanks to the collaboration with ASD Nippon Club, L’Albero della vita ODV and Oratorio della Basilica di Santa Maria della Neve. Other supporters, who play the valuable role of “Referral Bodies”, i.e. bodies that identify potential beneficiaries and put them in contact with the team, are:

After the capital of Campania, «Sport Power Tour» will move to Bari to conclude its journey, 25 and 26 May, 15 and 16 June.
The project
Started a year and a half ago with the aim of combating educational poverty, the “Sport Power” project aims to include young people cut off from sports circuits and create positive role models among adolescents through leadership in sports practice.
Guaranteeing access to sport as a fundamental right, bringing it where it doesn’t exist, spreading its principles and values: this is the mission of Sport Without Borders! Thanks to the Sport Power project, Sport Senza Frontiere has reached Sardinia and Puglia, activating a socio-sports-educational program for 125 minors in conditions of socio-economic fragility (55 in Rome, 30 in Naples and 40 between Bari and Domusnovas) . Finally – and this is the real innovation of the project – it formed the Sport Agents, groups of Under 18 adolescents, bearers of values linked to positive models of individual and group growth learned through sport (35 between Rome and Naples, 5 in Bari and 10 in Domusnovas), who are involved in educational and entertainment activities of the local social network.
The tour is one of the actions of the Sport Power project, supported by Enel Cuore, the non-profit organization of the Enel Group, and by the social enterprise «Con i Bambini» to the extent of 50% of the total budget. Enel Cuore has been operating for more than 20 years alongside Third Sector organizations rooted in the area, capable of creating shared value and guaranteeing social cohesion and the sustainability of initiatives over time.
To carry out such a vast and complex initiative, Sport Senza Frontiere used the intervention model successfully tested in almost 15 years of activity, activating a network of sports and socio-health collaborations in each project city:
