Radio 24 at the Turin Book Fair

The 24 ORE Group protagonist to Book Fair of Turin from 9 to 13 May 2024 in an exhibition area – Stand U194-V193, Oval Pavilion – in which Il Sole 24 Ore, 24 ORE Cultura and Radio 24 with a rich schedule of presentations within the official calendar of the Show, the meetings with the authors at the stand, the direct and the interviews of Radio 24.

The virtuous circle of words: this is the name chosen for the presence at SalTo 24, to testify to the strong appeal to literary circles but also to the value of economic and social essays, of in-depth analysis and debate and of the cultural production of the various souls of the Group. Club which is also recalled in new even richer and more multifunctional stand layoutwhich houses all the books of the group’s editorial brands and a new space dedicated to listening to podcast by 24Ore Podcast, the new brand that brings together all the Group’s original podcast productions. In the end The virtuous circle of words it is also the title of the new book catalog of Il Sole 24 Ore on the occasion of the Salone.

Numerous appointments in the official schedule: starting with Uncle Scrooge’s economy, to tell children and teenagers about the successful financial education initiative of Sole 24 Ore in collaboration with the Disney division of Giunti Editore, with Davide Cesarello, Veronica Di Lisio, Roberto Gagnor, Tiziana Lamberti and moderation by Marco lo Conte, scheduled Thursday 9 May at 2.15pm at Pavilion 4 BookLab, dedicated to schools. The meetings at the stand continue Friday 10 May in the name of books dedicated to personal and managerial growth with Andrea Vitullo, author of AbracadabraEmanuele Sacerdote, author of Never seen before and Paolo Gallo, author of The art of growing up.

Special date Saturday 11 May at 10.30am With the’AI Daya program dedicated entirely to in-depth analysis of artificial intelligence: we start with Marco Camisani Calzolari and Luca Mari, authors of Cyberhumanism and of Dostoevsky’s Artificial Intelligence who dialogue with Daniele Bellasio Deputy Director of Il Sole 24 Ore in the Sala Bianca, Piazzale Oval, while in Pavilion 4 BookLab, at 11.45am the presentation of I write Ergo Sum with the author Andrea De Benedetti in conversation with Daniele Bellasio, on the topics of artificial intelligence and education. To complete the programme, at the stand Francesco Pagano, author of Artificial intelligence. Art and science in business with Virginia Stagni and Vittorio di Tomaso.

We continue Sunday 12 May with a rich man schedule for 24 HOURS Culture: at 10.30 Female views on the museum at the Caffè Letterario, Piazzale Oval, with Sabrina Bianchi, Maria Beatrice Failla and Maurizio Luvizone, in collaboration with BPER Banca and Unione Industriali Torino; at 10.45 the presentation of Barbie. The icon celebration con Carlotta Bertotti and Massimiliano Cappella, in the Sala Viola and with Barbie also protagonist at the stand with a dedicated corner; at 1.15pm 1,2,3 Art! Mathematics as you’ve never seen it with Adriano Attus.

To close the Sunday schedule, there will be many meetings with the authors at the stand. Off we go at 11.00 with the designation of the winner of the second edition of Il Sole 24 Ore Award of economic and social essays. Following: Francesco Gungui, author of The hero’s journey into the world of work, with the participation of Paolo Borzacchiello; Monica D’Ascenzo and Manuela Perrone, authors of Mothers of Italy; Daniele Vaschi, author of Buy me, with Stella Pulpo; Matteo Caccia, author of Things that happen while livingthe book based on the Radio 24 programme Matteo Caccia Tells.

From the study of Radio 24 various programs are broadcast live inside the Stand starting from Thursday at 11.00 with Two of Pentacles by Mauro Meazza and Debora Rosciani, while it is Thursday and Friday at 12.00 Gianluca Nicoletti in Melog explores the theme of the Salon together with listeners to discover the many imaginary lives that everyone can live. Friday at 10.30am Alessandro Longoni, Riccardo Poli and Beppe Salmetti, speak at Off Topic of the relationship between books and Podcasts with Andrea Colamedici. Saturday at 8.30am Daniele Bellasio in Friends and Enemies in co-hosting with Giovanna Zucconi, they delve into current affairs seen through books, and finally Sunday at 1pmFederico Taddia and Matteo Bussola talk about the relationship between social media, platforms and reading in the Radio 24 program dedicated to teenagers You do not understand me. It closes Sunday at 5.00pm with a special appointment with the Live dthe Matteo Caccia, which tells the stories proposed by the listeners and collected, for the entire duration of the Show, at the Group’s Stand.
