Today, Tuesday 7 May, the 4th stage of the Giro 2024 takes place. 190 km of flat terrain from Acqui Terme to Andora. The pink caravan leaves Piedmont for Liguria, in a finish line dedicated to sprinters. Live free-to-air on Rai Due and Rai Sport HD.

It runs today 4th stage of the Giro d’Italia 2024, starting from Acqui Terme and the arrival in Andora, in Liguria. A flat section of 190 kilometers reserved for the classic speed finish. Free-to-air event on TV and streaming on Rai channels (Rai 2, Rai Sport HD and RaiPlay).

A stage totally free of roughness awaits the cyclists for the 4th appointment of the Giro 2024. The only break of the day is halfway through the route with the Melogno hill, a third category GPM located very far from Andora and which will not see a large selection. Then in a dive towards Savona for a final part of the stage which announces the classic sprint to the finish line in Andora.

The 4th stage of the Giro d’Italia: route and altimetry of the Acqui Terme – Andora

There is a third category GPM which is not important for questions of the general classification or for the stage victory but which closely affects the cyclists involved for the climbers’ classification. Colle del Melogno is located 90 kilometers from the start, halfway through the route and features a climb of 8 kilometers at an average pedaling rate of 5%. Before and after there are no rough edges, with a pure sprint finish in Andora.

All stages of the Corsa Rosa will be broadcast on TV, free-to-air, on the Rai channels (Rai Sport HD and Rai Due) and by paid subscription for Eurosport users. It will also be visible in free streaming on RaiPlay and by subscription on Discovery+, NOW, SkyGo and DAZN.
