The city of Alessandria prepares to welcome a unique photographic event, which captures the vibrant essence of live concerts through the lens of Alessandro Ando Magagna, known simply as ANDO. The exhibition entitled “LA MUSICA” will take place at the Bio Café starting from May 11, 2024, organized under the aegis of the Diffuse Art Project.
ANDO, a photographer known for his ability to capture authentic moments of everyday life, immerses himself in live concerts to explore the interaction between music and audience. His images tell stories of total immersion in musical moments, where each spectator becomes part of a collective yet deeply personal experience.
The “LA MUSICA” exhibition features a series of photographs that portray not only the energy and enthusiasm of fans during concerts, but also moments of reflection and personal connection with music. ANDO uses a direct and non-invasive photographic technique, using stage lights to illuminate the audience in a way that enhances their expression and emotion.
Fabrizio Priano, president of the Libera Mente-Laboratorio di Idee Cultural Association and curator of the event, describes the exhibition as an opportunity to explore “the way the public experiences concerts, both collectively and individually”. He highlights the uniqueness of this approach, focusing not only on the artist on stage, but also on the audience who actively participates in the concert experience.
This exhibition offers a unique insight into the dynamics of live concerts, presenting the audience not only as spectators, but as an integral part of the emotional fabric of the musical event. ANDO’s “LA MUSICA” will remain open until June 30, 2024, offering photography and music lovers an unmissable opportunity to see music through a new lens.
