Organized by the Brindisi Section of the National Union of Officers on Leave and by the Provincial Federation of the Blue Ribbon Institute, yesterday afternoon, 3 May, the member Maestro Ivano Barbiero held – in the splendid Representative Hall of the Province – the Piano Concerto “Music for Dreaming”.
The event, brilliantly presented by Mrs. Viviana Ancora, was opened by the Choir of the “Bozzano Centro” Comprehensive Institute – directed by Professor Rosanna Mazzotta – who performed “”Il Canto degli Italiani””.
After the greeting from Dr. Marcello Gorgoni, member of Nastro Azzurro and supporter of the event, Dr. spoke. Giuseppe Di Giorgio, Head of the AISM Section of Brindisi, raising awareness among those present of the need to contribute to supporting AISM in order to fuel research in the effort to defeat multiple sclerosis.
Maestro Barbiero, therefore, delighted the audience by playing some of the most famous melodies of national and international pop music.
The large audience followed with attention and emotion, confirming – as underlined by the president of UNUCI and NASTRO AZZURRO, Lt. CC. Giovanni Convertini – that nothing, like music, “touches” feelings and nourishes the spirit.
