The Municipality is aiming for a collective process to prepare and write the dossier for Savona’s candidacy as Capital of Culture.
“Everyone can participate with ideas, projects, dreams, proposals, visions and programs – explains Mayor Russo – to give their contribution to the identified theme: ‘New Routes for Culture’. Between May and June we have planned 9 public thematic meetings which will be an opportunity to discuss project ideas“.
Each theme has a reference councilor for the organization of the event, to whom citizens can thus refer.
The appointments are as follows (the locations will be communicated later by the Municipality):
- Tuesday 14 May at 6pm (Travel councillor), “New routes for everyone’s city. Bridges between generations, skills, cultures, religions“;
- Friday 17 May at 6pm (councillor Parodi), “New routes for sustainability Climate change, environmental and territorial valorisation“;
- Thursday 23 May at 6pm (councillor Rossello) “New routes for the port Bridges between lands and seas: people, knowledge, goods“;
- Wednesday 29 May at 6pm (Councilor Negro), “New routes for the arts and entertainment. Between consumption and experimentation, between local and international“;
- Friday 31 May at 6pm (Councillor of Padua), “New routes for young people and innovation. University, digital, collective growth“;
- Tuesday 4 June at 6pm (councillor Branca), “New routes for food and catering. Between identity and market“;
- Wednesday 12 June h. 18 (Negro councilor), “New routes for tourism. Territorial synergies between hospitality, work and digital“;
- Tuesday 18/25 June at 6pm (Viaggi and Negro councillors), “New routes for a polycentric territory. Neighborhoods, coast, hinterland: links and vocations“;
- Friday 28 June at 6pm (Councillor of Padua), “New routes for trade. Spaces and relationships according to a cultural and tourist model between neighborhood commerce, large-scale distribution, online, services and supervision“.
