Confartigianato, ‘Latina Fiesta’ kicks off

Enhance the entire city of Ancona, the natural shopping centers and the villages.

This is the aim set by Confartigianato Imprese Ancona – Pesaro and Urbino with two initiatives that were illustrated during a press conference attended by, among others, Marco Pierpaoli, Secretary of Confartigianato Ancona – Pesaro and Urbino, Paolo Longhi and Luca Casagrande President and Territorial Manager, the municipal councilors for economic activities Angelo Eliantonio and for the villages Daniele Belardinelli.

Corso Carlo Alberto, in the Piano district, will immerse itself in the overwhelming Latin atmospheres thanks to ‘Fiesta latina – the celebration of Latin flavours’, of the International Street Food scheduled from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 May 2024. Four intense days of events in whose protagonists will be quality, passion for good food and fun. The trucks will offer excellent street food typical of Latin American cuisines, but there will also be beer, with excellent Italian, European and international craft breweries, and a selection of cocktails & long drinks, also with an international flavour. The overwhelming music of Caribbean groups made the audience dance. The event was presented by the organizer, Alfredo Orofino, national president of Airs-Confartigianato.

Alessandra Bocchini, Giacomo Giaccaglia President of Mutuo Soccorso Acli of Gallignano and the technical partner Alessandro Nicoletti of Ankongrafica, illustrated the 2024 edition of ‘Anteprime Gallignano’. The event, which will be held from 10 to 12 May, will liven up every corner of the Gallignano district by hosting exhibitions, performances, events and exhibitions of crafts, art, entertainment, music, dance, photography and graphics. The neighborhood will be a stage of widespread art for the benefit of those who live there and those who will immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere. The artists present, many young newcomers and others established, will be 34, double the number of the last edition.

‘Two events that represent our commitment to enhance and invest in the territory of the two provinces’, explains the Secretary Marco Pierpaoli, underlining the desire to bring out the potential of the capital, more peripheral in collaboration with the municipal administration.

‘The most peripheral neighborhoods deserve to be revived and valorised’, said Paolo Longhi and Luca Casagrande, President and Territorial Manager of Ancona. ‘Gallignano is a wonderful village that deserves to be inhabited, but it needs services and initiatives that make it attractive’. ‘These events are the result of continuous dialogue and discussion with operators and the municipal administration’. ‘In particular,’ said Casagrande, ‘we are carefully following the development of the Plan’s relaunch projects which need to be animated and lived.’

Councilor Eliantonio reiterated how important valorization work is being done on the Plan also in collaboration with Confartigianato and how the ‘Latina Fiesta’ is only the first of a series of events. ‘Initiatives like Anteprime Gallignano are good,’ said councilor Belardinelli, underlining how the commitment is to organize structured initiatives in all the villages.’
