Crotone – Another medal, another success, another emotion. The little talent from Crotone, Luigi Basile, is truly unstoppable. The dancer from the SAD dance school directed by Mebel Mazzà also triumphed at 2024 Csendanza National Championship of Modern and Contemporary Dance” which took place in Assisi on 4 and 5 May, placing first in the modern and contemporary dance competition. At seven years old, Luigi has already won titles that have catapulted him into the world of dance that matters to him.
In Assisi, accompanied by mother Elena and father Salvatore, convinced the international jury composed of: Dario Biuso, choreographer and international juror, artistic director of Kòreos Ballet; Ted Brandsen. artistic director Dutch National Ballet; Ekaterina Dalskaya, dancer at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow; Elisa Carrillo, dancer of the StaatballettBerlin; Christopher Powney, artistic director of the Royal Ballet School.
Luigi, who has been studying dance for two years, returns home with another experience to add to his already rich baggage of successes and with another scholarship abroad. A great opportunity for a true talent who continues to grow, get excited and excite with dance steps. Moved by a great passion and supported by his family who follows and supports him, the little dancer is tracing, slowly but with great tenacity and sacrifice, his path in the magical world of dance.
