TRENT. Trento, Portland Play Off 2024. End-of-year courses until May 14th, in via Papiria 6 in Piedicastello. The 2023/2024 theater year is coming to an end and, as usual, in the month of May, they take place at Portland end of year shows. All the students of the theater school aged 7-25 will perform, directed by the reference teacher of all groups, Paolo Vicentini.

here is the calendar complete schedule of the Portland Play Off 2024: 7 and 14 May, 5.30 pm – Group 7-10 years “Are you normal?”.
With Beatrice Zahra, Chiara, Giulia, Niccolò, Daniele, Pietro, Aurora, Bryan Natan, Stella, Agata, Sabrina, Asia, Elena, Enrico Miguel, Eva, Federico, Angelica and Miriam. “Are You Normal?”, a show that takes us on an emotional journey through the ruins of a forgotten world. In this dystopian story, a group of children, living in a very distant future, come together to explore traces of the past, discovering an unknown and fascinating reality. Through their adventures, we immerse ourselves in a journey of discovery and reflection, exploring the meaning of humanity and questioning the consequences of our actions. An invitation to dream, reflect and explore the power of knowledge in shaping our destiny.

13 and 20 May, 6pm – Group 15-17 years old, “The Merry Wives of Windsor”.
With Sofia, Esmeralda, Valentina, Shakina, Natalie, Mattia, Gioia, Anna, Carolina, Thi Hieu, Francesca, Consuelo, Alessio, Riccardo, Selma and Alberto. In “The Merry Wives of Windsor”, we find ourselves immersed in a fun and lively intrigue, where a man finds himself courting two women, becoming the object of their jokes and teasing. With an intricate and playful plot, the comedy unfolds through a mechanism of deception and misunderstandings, involving the audience in a spiral of fun and laughter.

15, 29 May, 6pm – Wednesday group 11-14 years old, “La Pietra Oscura”.
With Maria Lucia, Silvia, Viola, Elisa, Adelaide, Beatrice, Ilaria, Emma, ​​Federico, Claudio, Noemi, Martino, Elisa, Samuel, Bianca, Anna and Adele. In “La Pietra Oscura”, we witness the last summer of a group of middle school kids eager to invent a game to spend the summer period. Everything takes an unexpected turn when they find a mysterious glowing stone, kicking off an adventure story involving the mafia, secret agents, quantum mechanics and parallel worlds. Between intrigue, surprising discoveries and breathtaking adventures, the show takes us on an exciting journey through the folds of fantasy and reality.

16 and 23 May, 6pm – Thursday group 11-14 years old, “Ephemerals are immortal”.
With Matilde, Margherita, Carla, Elio, Maddalena, Gioia Zaira, Matteo, Ester, David, Riccardo, Viola, Sara, Sean, Alfonso, Angelica, Anna, Francesco, Giulia Esmerlin and Carola. With “Ephemerals Are Immortal”, we immerse ourselves in an extraordinarily dystopian world, where the elixir of immortality has transformed society into a labyrinth of madness and absurdity. In this black comedy, the more you take the elixir, the closer you come to losing your humanity, as your mind degrades into the absurdity of an endless existence. Through a theater of the absurd and madness, the show invites us to explore the boundaries of eternity, offering us an experience of exhilarating and unprecedented entertainment.

21 and 28 May, 8pm – 18-25 year old group, “LSD-Long Short Day”.
With Federico, Claudia, Leonardo, Erica, Sofia, Sebastian, Michela, Sebastiano, Maddalena, Antonio, Chiara, Benedetta, Matteo and Alex. In “LSD – Long Short Day”, the show comes to life from a newspaper article that tells of a plane that left 24 hours late because all the hostesses expected did not hear the sound of the alarm clock, lost in a very deep sleep. Each story brought to the stage comes from real articles, taking unexpected, unreal and paradoxical turns, creating a profound sense of anticipation and curiosity that will project everyone towards a compelling experience where intriguing and surprising stories unfold.
