From 6 to 8 May 2024, the relics of Saint Anthony of Padua will be at the Convent of San Francesco in Folloni. There are 2 “ex massa corporis” extracted from the tomb of Saint Anthony in the 1981 survey and displayed in 2 reliquaries.

The event is more deeply felt because it falls in the year in which we celebrate 800 years since the miracle of the sackcloth and the stigmata of Saint Francis.

Fra Luigi Carillo, guardian of the Convent says: “All this is a reason for great joy and gratitude to the Lord for how much grace he continues to extend on this place so dear to the municipalities of the Alta Valle del Calore and beyond. Antonio is the saint par excellence , known and venerated throughout the world and deeply felt in popular devotion. Every year, when the days of the feast occur, our Church is inundated with his devotees who come for prayer and to rely on his protection that they bring to bless their children and grandchildren is ultimately closely linked to charity and, in particular, for the extraordinary miracles that he continues to perform today!
