It was supposed to be a session behind closed doors and instead it turned into a crowd bath. The Amaranth fans attended this morning’s training session en masse Rigutino, crowding into the stands with torches, scarves and flags. The south wanted to send a strong and clear message to the team, well summarized in the banner attached to the net: “We fight for our values, you fight and come back winners”.

The reference, obviously, is to Tuesday’s match in Alessandria with the Juventus Next Genthat the organized groups will desert for the umpteenth time, as a sign of protest towards the B teams. But the hope is that the pitch, despite Arezzo only having one result available, can reward the Indians and their players.

The team played a mainly technical session this morning, with a final practice match. All available for the dry race the day after tomorrow, with the exception of Masetti (knee surgery) and Pattarello (stretching). The former ended the season early, the latter worked separately with the trainer and will not be there against Juventus. There is some glimmer of recovery if qualification for the second round arrives, scheduled for Saturday 11th.

Tomorrow morning’s session finishing again in Rigutino, this time really behind closed doors. Then press conference by Mister Indians and then departure for the training camp in Piedmont.
