In the framework of the Turin Book Fair 2024 (9 – 13 May), Milo Manara, one of the most famous Italian cartoonists in the world, will hold a meeting with the public during which, among other things, he will present the new complete edition of one of his best-known comics: The gamepublished by Feltrinelli Comics.
The Milo Manara event will be held on Saturday 11 May from 6.15pm to 7.15pm in the Sala Viola spaces, located in the Piazzale Oval of Lingotto Fiere. The meeting will be moderated by Tito Faraci, screenwriter known for his work in Disney and on Diabolik, and editorial director of Feltrinelli Comics.
The game tells the vicissitudes of Claudia Cristiani, a sophisticated, chaste and frigid bourgeois girl, who has a chip inserted into her brain which, activated with a remote control, unleashes her erotic impulses.
The comic consists of four parts. The first, after a brief appearance in the magazine Glamour in 1982, it was published in installments in 1983 in the magazine Playman. Following the success of the story, especially in France, Manara has created three other chapters over time, respectively in 1991, 1994 and 2001. This year Feltrinelli Comics has re-proposed the entire saga in a single volume with an unpublished cover enclosed in a box including a print with signature on embossed stamp, can be purchased online at this link.
