There are nine i bathing bans in force on the coast of Sanremo. The start of May, characterized by low temperatures, still keeps residents and tourists away from the beaches, but the meteorological situation is destined to change and Arpal’s analyzes are carefully observed to obtain the “green light”.
The bans already in force were revoked on April 30th because from May 1st they must be converted in relation to bathing areas. As a precaution, therefore, the Municipality of Sanremo has issued warnings new ordinances due to a new break in the sewerage system and we are now awaiting analyzes from Arpal to verify that the parameters have returned to normal.
The areas currently affected by precautionary ban bathing areas are: Corso Marconi, Capo Pino bay, La Bussola, Rio San Bernardo mouth, Armea torrent mouth, Lungomare delle Nazioni, Corso Imperatrice, Tiro a Volo and Rio Foce area.
I am compliant: Tre Ponti, San Martino, Corso Trento and Trieste, Bussana and Casello.
Now all hope is placed in the Arpal analysis expected in the next few days. Only their outcome will be able to sweep away the first shadows on the 2024 beach season.
