Victory within the friendly walls of Pala Santoru for the Raimond Ego Sassari in the last round of the Regular Season. The rossoblù, already certain of exclusion from the playoffs whose last place was the prerogative of Conversano who won the direct clash against Bolzano, beat Cingoli 45-35.
Equisoain’s men tamed the Marche team, which will face the playouts to avoid relegation: a match already largely directed in the first half, with the Sassari team ahead by 8 points (23-16), with the Spanish coach who rotated the roster extensively for the final 45-35. Top scorers of the match were Aldini among the hosts and Codina Vivanco among the guests, both with 10 goals.
