PERUGIA – The last home match, the penultimate of the season, ends with a 1-0 home victory for coach Del Bene’s Perugia against Pisa.
In the first half Pisa started strongly and put the home team in difficulty. As the minutes passed, however, the red and whites found the right way to counterattack the guests by building excellent game patterns. In the second half Perugia started strong, coming close to taking the lead several times and in the 11th minute they managed to find the goal with Badirou. In the last minutes of the match Pisa tries everything but fails to “pierce” the Perugia defense. It ends 1-0.
