LAWN – It starts on Tuesday 7 May at 9.15pm. Themes of the evenings: safety, sport, integration and maintenance of the neighborhood’s infrastructure. The public will be able to ask their questions to the candidates.

Three meetings with as many candidates for mayor of Prato, to take stock of the future of the hamlet of Tavola, between opportunities and critical issues, a few weeks before the local elections on 8 and 9 June. The appointments are scheduled for Tuesday 7 May, 21 May and 28 May, always starting at 9.15pm. The debates were organized by a group of residents of the hamlet, who identified the ‘Martelli’ sports field in via Giulio Braga a Tavola as an ideal place to organize the debate which also represents a moment of aggregation for the citizens.

The guest of the first meeting on May 7th will be Ilaria Bugetti, candidate for the center-left coalition. Two weeks later, on May 21st, it will be the turn of Gianni Cenni, candidate of the center-right coalition. Finally, on May 28th, the public meeting will be held with the civic candidate of the Targettopoli list, Jonathan Targetti.

The three public debates will be moderated by the journalist Stefano De Biase. During the three appointments, the candidates will be available to explain their vision of the city and more specifically of the hamlet of Tavola: a neighborhood that in recent years has undergone important transformations and evolutions from an urban and social point of view. On all occasions, the public will be able to ask their questions directly to the candidates.

Together with the free questions from those present, five topics are already on the agenda which will be addressed in detail by the candidates. We are talking, specifically, about the future of the ‘Achilli’ sports field in via Braga, the redevelopment of the Tavola cemetery and the lack of burial niches and ossuaries, the maintenance of the roads and the projects planned to encourage integration and increase the safety of citizens .

«All residents and citizens are invited to participate – underline the organizers of the three debates – because it will be an excellent moment to address in detail all those issues that are important to those who live or work in the neighborhood. There is really a lot to talk about and we are really pleased to be able to listen to the plans for the table of the three mayoral candidates.” All three events are free and open to entry.
