During the “Firenze in Campo” broadcast on Radio FirenzeViola he spoke Luca Ceccarelli. The former defender, who made his Serie A debut with Fiorentina, played for Verona from 2008 to 2013, the Viola’s next league opponent. Here are his words:
On Verona fighting for salvation and Fiorentina engaged in the Conference League.
“I think it’s a delicate match for both. Verona will reach the last match to find out whether they will remain in Serie A or not, while Fiorentina has their attention focused on the cup, even if there are other matches to play. It will be a match fought on both sides.”

It’s a important leap that makes you grow because you have to be ready to immediately immerse yourself in those situations. Young people today must remain calm and make themselves available to try to listen to their teammates who can help them.”
On the Veronese period.
“In Verona I made an important journey. The city is similar to Florence. Even at that time the club was not going through a good moment and we risked falling to Serie C 2. I therefore witnessed the rebirth up to the top flight. I became a man there, I did things seriously and honestly, and that was the important thing for me.”
