Jordanian theater shapes authentic kids who are different from who

“Different from who?”. This is the title of the final event of the Ragazzi Aut-entici project, financed by the Puglia Region with the Puglia Capitale Sociale 3.0 tender and implemented by the Il Girasole association of Foggia, which has been involved in the area for 15 years with many activities for children and young people with autism and cognitive difficulties.

THE EVENT. The evening, under the patronage of the Municipality of Foggia, was conceived as a hymn to diversity: the protagonists will in fact be the children of Il Girasole, the Blaise Pascal Institute of Foggia, and the Notarangelo-Rosati Institute, partners of the project. During the event, the results of the various workshops that followed one another during the project dedicated to children with autism and cognitive difficulties will be presented, from the social laboratory with the children of the Pascal Institute, the laboratory on Autonomy and Music Therapy with the children of Il Girasole Association and the theater workshop with the children of Notarangelo-Rosati, who will be the protagonists of a special musical directed by Irma Ciccone. Special guest of the evening will be the Foggia actress Miriam Stranieri. The Aut-entic Boys project aims to focus attention on the social inclusion of children with autism spectrum disorder and cognitive disabilities and to prevent and combat forms of violence, discrimination and intolerance towards the same children or vulnerable subjects.
