Benevento returned to the city: at 4.30 pm the company bus again crossed the gates of Vigorito, depositing part of the group that participated in the Roman retreat. Many returned to their places of residence with their own means, some like Ciciretti took the opportunity to spend an extra day at home in the capital.
The Giallorossi who carried out their last training session at Mancini in the morning (after activation, divided into groups, the players carried out work in the gym and then on the pitch with themed ball possession exercises and final off-loading) will now benefit from one day and a half of rest, they will sanctify Sunday and resume preparation on Monday afternoon at the Antistadio Imbriani. The group should be complete, with the exception, unfortunately, of Christian Pastina, who has already started the re-education of the injured limb, but due to the “meniscal suture” operation he will have it for no less than three months. Everyone else is fine, including Riccardo Improta, who despite still feeling some discomfort in his ankle, is gritting his teeth to train intensely together with his teammates. Obviously, Ciciretti is also fine, who just needs to leave behind the discomfort in his calf, which we explained in recent days is absolutely not of a muscular nature.
So everyone will meet on Monday afternoon at Imbriani. It will be the week that precedes the debut in the play offs, an important week.
