Changes to the movement of trains on the La Spezia – Corniglia section for infrastructure interventions scheduled in La Spezia from 11.15 to 12.50 on 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 15 May.
Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (lead company of the FS Group) will carry out the second phase of the works to complete the renewal of switches in La Spezia, already started in April and previously carried out at night without interfering with traffic. The interventions will guarantee more flexible management with positive impacts on the regularity of circulation. These are processes that must necessarily be carried out when the temperature of the rail naturally reaches around 30 degrees, a condition that occurs during daylight hours between April and June, before the summer heat develops.
In the time slot affected by the activities, between the stations of La Spezia and Corniglia traffic will take place on a single alternate one-way track, making the following timetable changes necessary
Timetables
RFI together with Fs Security will strengthen the staff present in the stations, especially in La Spezia and Corniglia and in the operational control room of Genoa Teglia to guarantee better management of traveler flows and to offer support in case of need.
