The reinterpretation of the soundtracks of the most famous science fiction films by Sincopathi. Appointment at the Cinema Teatro Nuovo in Varese
Thursday 9 May at 9.00 pm, al Cinema Teatro Nuovo in Varese (viale dei Mille, 39), the cineconcerto will be held “Music for the galaxies“, on stage The Syncopaths.
A film concert of great visual impact, with the original reinterpretation of the most beautiful science fiction film soundtracks, from A Trip to the Moon and Metropolis up to Blade Runner, Solaris, Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, Interstellar, and even Avatar and ET, retracing the different strands of science fiction cinema and the related film and musical visions from the dawn of the history of cinema to this day. The performance of the songs will be enhanced by the projection of videos and images during the performance of the songs. Francesca Badalini (piano, guitar, synth), Andrea Grumelli (bass, synth), Federico De Zani (drums, hang) and Cristina Bianchi (vocals) will perform on stage.
The full ticket costs 12 euros, the reduced ticket for Filmstudio 90, Arci members, over 65s, under 18s and students is 10 euros. Pre-sales are available online at this link. The event, organized by Filmstudio 90 APS in partnership with the Municipality of Varese, is the last appointment of the first part of the “Nuovo Live” 2024 review and marks the beginning of the “Di terra e di Cielo” review, which will continue until to June 7 (the complete program can be consulted at this link).
