21 “shadow employees” from 2021 to today

The Nil Carabinieri of Rimini carried out an inspection at a healthcare residence for the elderly in the province of Rimini and numerous non-compliances emerged relating to the regular hiring and employment of workers. In particular, the presence of dthe 21 workers classified as self-employed workers, therefore VAT holders, who, in fact, were employees in all respects as they lack total autonomy, with time constraints, functionally inserted into the company’s organizational chart and without any economic risk. Reason why the company was accused of failing to send to the employment center the prior communication of hiring 21 workers as an employed worker starting from the year 2021, as well as the failure to deliver to the workers a copy of the employment contract in quality of employed worker. These violations resulted in administrative sanctions for the company totaling approximately 20,000 euros, as well as a warning to pay the social security contributions not paid to irregularly employed workers, amounting to 1,600,000 euros.
