In the 5th, with Baez having just gone up the mound in place of Quevedo, a base ball on Vaglio, a wild pitch and another hit by Tomsjansen allow the Tuscan team to score the fourth point (0-4). The San Marino attack, after ending up in a double play with two basemen in the 3rd, reaches second base a couple of times (in the 4th and 7th), but does not score. BBC Grosseto wins game 1 4-0.
