The festival, promoted by Semi Aps and Areté Ensemble, is included in the In.Centro project
The 2024 edition of the SEMI – IL CASTELLO DI PLASTICA Festival will be held on 4 and 5 May, created thanks to the will and collaboration of the Municipality of Bitonto regarding the In.Centro project. The event tells children and adults how to tackle the serious problem of plastic pollution through workshops and shows. The SEMI Festival has always been entirely dedicated to the themes of natural life and alternative lifestyles. It is curated by Semi Aps and Areté Ensemble.
Two splendid days, in the splendid setting of Piazza Cavour, dedicated to children (5-14 years), parents, grandparents and mums and dads. A small two-day trip from morning to evening focused on discovering the “plastic problem” with workshops, shows, concerts, talks as well as many creative activities for children. A dialogue around the themes of “learning to respect nature and finding new solutions and alternatives to the use of plastic. The festival, this time too, brought together various national and regional realities, associations, experts, to talk about paths alternative or integrative to the plastic problem. The SEMI Festival confirms itself as a fixed event for those who want to find out about new growth possibilities linked to nature, ecology, eco-sustainability, humanity, but also to technology and their combination virtuous. The goal is to achieve greater awareness in the choices that each of us makes every day, precisely through sharing and information different for everyone and where everyone can take what is most necessary and in the form they prefer.

All activities will take place in Piazza Cavour, at the Torrione Angioino and in the streets of the historic center of Bitonto.
