Sunday at 6pm at PalaCarneraApu Udine will challenge the Juvi Cremona in Game 1 of the playoff quarterfinals. The guest coach Luca Bechi he presented the challenge in a press conference, these are his statements reported by cremonasport.it:
“A goal that is a source of pride, the team is very happy to have achieved it and at the same time very excited. It’s clear that there are teams better equipped than us, with greater ambitions, but we want to make a good impression and have our say. In the quarter-final we face Udine, a team, in my opinion, together with Trapani and Cantù, among the favorites and which made an important impact in the central part of the season, suffering a little at the end due to some absences. In the last part of the championship they added Cannon who we know well, a player with great impact and great experience and who joins an important squad. We will meet a focused team with good balance and who knows how to play together, as well as having different solutions. We’re going to play the first away game with curiosity to know what level we are at and what our emotional impact will be on the playoffs. We are aware of our means and of who we are or what we have done. It’s not over for us, we don’t want to be spectators, but to be protagonists, then the field will decide which will be the best team between the two. We don’t start out beaten and we don’t want to hand over the quarter-final to our opponents, we will fight as long as we have energy. We haven’t prepared anything different than trying to do better what is in our characteristics, trying to improve the quality of our basketball, knowing that to beat Udine we should above all compete physically.”
