“Zoologia” will close the calendar of “Tutta Nostra la Città”, a review dedicated to children and families organized by the Municipality of Bisceglie in collaboration with the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese. On Sunday 5 May at 6pm the dance show will be staged at the Politeama Italia Theatre.
The show stars Maimone, a lonely person initially dressed in oversized clownish clothes. The phases of symbiosis come to life when her arms extend and double outside the abandoned jacket, giving life to an intriguing and fluid choreography that explores the dual relationship of belonging and rejection.
The musical composition, curated by the conductor Marco Caredda in close collaboration with the Ensemble Scisma during its creation, is interpreted by the Ensemble Scisma, a permanent laboratory of contemporary music of the “GP Da Palestrina” Conservatory of Cagliari.
“Zoologia” transmits a complete artistic experience through a very close integration between stage action, dance and music, emotionally enlivening the dramaturgical expression with scenography, costumes and lighting with attention to the smallest details.
The show, with its vaguely surrealist aesthetic, invites the audience to explore the limits of the physical and the possibility of welcoming a double, bringing the conflict towards a possible solution through a magical and engaging performance. Tickets (5 euros for children, 10 for adults) are on sale at the box office of the Politeama Italia Theatre.
