Reggio Calabria, fight at the “Da Vinci” high school ends in stabbings: student injured

The Reggio Calabria high school student was apparently injured following an argument with a peer who pulled out a knife and hit him.

REGGIO CALABRIA – A fight at school ended in stabbings. The episode occurred late in the morning today, 3 May 2024, at the “Leonardo Da Vinci” scientific high school in Reggio Calabria. Two fifteen-year-old high school students for reasons still under investigation, but it would seem for trivial reasons, started arguing with each other. The argument degenerated when one of the two apparently pulled out a knife and injured his peer on the back of the hand.

The injured fifteen-year-old was taken to the emergency room by his father, who informed the school of the incident. The Carabinieri of the provincial command of Reggio Calabria intervened at the “Da Vinci” scientific high school and started investigations aimed at reconstructing what happened between the two students. Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Juvenile Court intervened and opened a case against the minor who hit the peer.
