Detention for the purpose of drug dealing: a 46-year-old originally from Tunisia arrested by the Carabinieri
During the afternoon of yesterday, May 1st, in Latina, the Latina Scalo Carabinieri arrested a 46-year-old Tunisian citizen for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing.
Following a personal search, the man was found in possession of a total of 5 grams of heroin divided into doses, as well as the sum of cash of 30 euros believed to be the proceeds of the illicit activity.
The 46-year-old, having completed the formalities, was held in the security rooms of the Carabinieri provincial command, awaiting the celebration of the direct rite which was celebrated today before the single judge of the Court of Latina, Enrica Villani.
Defended by the lawyer Alessandro Farau, the man appeared before the single judge who validated the arrest and applied the judicial police obligations in response to the request for precautionary custody in prison formulated by the public prosecutor. The 46-year-old will be tried under the alternative rite next week
