A May full of literary events by Vecchie Segherie

It begins on May 3 at 7 pm with the 2021 Strega Prize Emanuele Trevi presenting “La casa del mago” (Ponte alle grazie), moderated by Felice Di Lernia, in collaboration with the Circolo dei Lettori of Bisceglie.

On Sunday 5 May the Old Sawmills move to Trani inside Palazzo Beltrani: at 6 pm Carlo Massarini presents “Vivo dal Vivo 2010-2023” (Rizzoli Lizard) in dialogue with Francesco Costantini, in collaboration with the Municipality of Trani and Palazzo Beltrani.

On May 7th at 7pm meeting with Carlo Greppi and “A man of few words (Laterza), event moderated by Maria Bisceglie, in collaboration with Anpi Bisceglie.

On May 16th at 7.30 pm Claudia Durastanti presents “Missitalia” (The Ship of Theseus) moderated by Mariagiovanna Amoruso, in collaboration with the Circolo dei Lettori.

On May 19th at 7pm it’s Guido Catalano’s turn to bring the show “What females do in the bathroom” (Feltrinelli) to the Segherie, and on May 21st at 7pm the Trucioli reading group will meet again, curated by Ilenia Caito on the book “The fragile age” by Donatella Di Pietrantonio. On May 22nd at 7.30 pm online meeting with Elena Granata on “The meaning of women for the city” (Einaudi) in dialogue with Don Matteo Losapio and Corrado Nicola De Benedittis. The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Order of Bat Architects.
On May 29th another “trip out of town”: at 5pm Gabriella Genisi presents “Silvia Spider” (Piemme) moderated by Antonella Filannino, in collaboration and at the Municipal Library “Mons. V. Morra” of Trinitapoli. To conclude the calendar of the month on May 30th at 5.30 pm, a two-person meeting with Gianna Fregonara and Orsola Riva to present “Don’t shoot up the school” (Solferino). The event, in collaboration with IV Circolo Didattico Don Pasquale Uva, will be held inside Carruba Garden in Bisceglie.
