Once again work becomes a massacre in Campania; yesterday was Labor Day and today two workers died at work in Naples.
NAPLES – Once again work becomes a tragedy in Campania. Yesterday Labor Day was celebrated across the nation, today 2 May 2024, two workers lost their lives in the workplace. One within a few hours of the other.
The first workplace accident occurred in Lettere, where a 57-year-old worker appears to have fallen from the third floor of a building around which a construction site was being set up. The victim, according to an initial reconstruction, fell for reasons yet to be ascertained. The Carabinieri intervened on site to investigate the case and start investigations.
The second fatal episode occurred in Acerra, at the Villa dei Fiori clinic. A 60-year-old worker died while working on a construction site in Viale dei Tigli. The causes of death are still being ascertained by the Carabinieri of Casalnuovo who intervened to reconstruct the dynamics of the event and verify compliance with workplace safety regulations.
