Elections, brothers (of Italy) “against” in Limone Piemonte

A full-scale “derby” is expected for the Brothers of Italy in the next municipal elections in Limone Piemonte. The candidacy of the regional group leader has already been announced for weeks Paolo Bongioanniwith the Limone nel Cuore list headed by the outgoing mayor Massimo Riberi. However, there will be a member of the Melonian party, Alessia Casonialso on the other list, headed by the former mayor Piergiorgio Chiera.

Casoni, thirty-two years old next August, is the daughter of the provincial coordinator William: in 2017 she had already been a candidate for FdI in the municipal elections of Cuneo. This time he will contest the election against Bongioanni – and the other candidates – on the list Tourism is tradition: the mayoral candidate Chiera, real estate agent, former mayor of Limone from 1995 to 1999 and councilor for various mandates, is also known in the town as organizer of events, including the Note d’acqua concerts on Lake Terrasole.

The pearl of the Vermenagna valley – already a basin of votes of the then regional councilor of An Casoni, in the 2000s – is therefore confirmed as a favorite land for the candidates of the flame. In addition to the “brotherly” challenge for the Limonese municipality, the former president of the ATL Bongioanni will face the mayor of Frabosa Soprana in the race for Palazzo Lascaris Iole Caramelcandidate with the Cirio list in the Region: a “snow derby”, someone has already renamed it, playing on the tourist competition between the Riserva Bianca and Mondolé Ski.
