The chaos at the IPC Verri in Busto Arsizio it doesn’t stop and even some parents of the institute are reporting the school situation to the ministry, hoping it will be brought to attention as soon as possible: “This is how the kids lose out.”
“The Italian teacher in our class hasn’t received a salary since December – explains a parent representative in one of the IPC commercial sections – she also told what was happening to the kids, explaining to them that she might never show up at school again” , and so it happened. Until one day she «received the payments for November and December and returned, as she felt responsible for the boys having fourth and fifth wages».
But then in recent days, she was absent again, sparking the desire among parents of various classes to do something and put yourself on the front line alongside of those professors who haven’t received their salaries for months. Especially in light of some discoveries: «Initially we thought that the money did not arrive from the ministry, on April 24 we discovered that it did arrive at the school».
But in addition to the support for the professors, there is no lack of support for the director of the institute: «We also feel sorry for her, because she wanted to change things. You probably brought something uncomfortable to light.”
And, on behalf of the parents of the class, a certified email was sent to the Institute in which copies were made of the people who work at the ministry, in which it is expressly said: «We consider it unacceptable that administrative non-compliance within the institute causes serious harm to children on the verge of reaching maturity”.
In the meantime, parents are contacting Striscia la Notizia en masse – and trying to invite others to do so too – with the hope that, at least they, will be able to “get the ministry to intervene”.
