A “worrying and dangerous institutional and interpretative short circuit” has excluded the Popular Alternative lists in the Center, while they received the green light in the South. The mayor of Terni, Stefano Bandecchi, leader of the political formation making its debut in the European elections, announces battle and calls a press conference for Friday 3 May at 11.30 am. The AP national secretary denounces the “institutional and interpretative short circuit that caused the admission of the AP List in the Southern constituency”, while it was admitted in other constituencies. A fact that occurred “despite a fundamental clarifying note from the Interior Ministry, cited by the Court of Appeal in the reasons for admission, which it seems no other Court considered taking into account, omitting the reason”, we read in a note.

“What is happening is worthy of the worst regimes, an attempt is being made, by the government majority and through badly written law changes, to prevent a segment of voters from expressing their vote. They are violently and arrogantly compressing their rights democrats”, thunder from the party which announces a press conference for tomorrow at 11.30 am in the Aula Magna of the Unicusano University in via Don Carlo Gnocchi n.3 in Rome “to denounce forcefully and clearly the serious affair in progress, even more so serious if we remember that AP represents the EPP, has the EPP logo in its logo and the EPP has all the requirements, throughout Europe, to participate in elections without collecting signatures”. At the same time, the president of AP Paolo Alli asked for an urgent meeting on the topic with Prime Minister Meloni and Minister Piantedosi.
