ANCONA – Sea or mountain? Sport or culture? In the Marche, the tourist offer covers all products, with many different destinations and a “plural destination”. The region “declined in the plural” offers visitors “a series of infinite opportunities in all seasons of the year”. For this reason, the concept of the new Atim promotional campaign for the 2024 tourist season is inspired by the theme of conjunctions. After the 2022 tourist season with the record of presences and arrivals, the 2023 tourist season which, despite the initial conditioning of the adverse weather, recorded a new record of visitors and especially of foreigners, with a 12% increase in presences, the The Region and Atim expect 2024 to be as good as, if not better than, previous years thanks also to the driving force of Pesaro, Capital of Culture 2024, which will be accompanied by the traditional summer events.
Atim also recalled all the promotional events in which the Marche region was the protagonist, the latest being the SeaFood Global in Barcelona, ​​and the ongoing promotional campaigns such as the commercials of the wonders of the Marche interpreted by the coach of the national football team of Saudi Arabia, Roberto Mancini, international testimonial, repeated in the stations, subways, airports and historic centers of three important European cities connected to Ancona by direct flight: Paris, Vienna and Munich.
The next event in which the Marche will participate is the Arabian travel market, the tourism fair of the United Arab Emirates which will be held from Monday 6 to Thursday 9 May, at the Dubai world trade center and for which a seminar with over 20 participants is already planned international operators, a sign of the interest that the region now arouses throughout the world.
