GALLARATE – The entry of Mutares into the share capital of Sofinter, an industrial group which has an office in the province of Varese, has been completed Gallarate, based in Piazza Buffoni. The German fund has become the majority shareholder of the group, which includes companies such as Ac Boilers (formerly Ansaldo Caldaie), Macchi and Itea operating in the steam and energy production sector. It’s a company of strategic importance for some important patents. The Gammon Group became one of the minority shareholders.
Alarm reset
Two years after the alarm launched by the CGIL, the operation involved a capital increase subscribed by a company of the Mutares group as well as a reorganization agreement in execution of a debt restructuring plan ex art. 56 of Code of business crisis and insolvencyin the context of which the pool of financing banks confirmed the revolving financial support towards the companies of the Sofinter group, while Illimity bank financed the operation also through the purchase of credits deriving from medium-long term financing from some of the aforementioned el bankspurchase of an industrial real estate complex from certain leasing companies.
