Castelvetere (AV): deviations

From 06 May 2024 and until the end of the public works foreseen by Municipal Ordinance n. 8/2024, trips in transit on Castelvetere sul Calore (AV) will make deviations to the routes, as indicated below:

• Coming from Avellinoin transit on Castelvetere: once they reach the intersection between the SS400 and viale Clorindo Sullo, they will make the temporary stop which will be installed at that specific point, and then turn left and take the SS400 again, new variant, SS400 towards Montemarano (AV), traditional route.
• Coming from Montemarano (AV)in transit on Castelvetere: once they reach the intersection between via Elena Discepolo and via San Rocco, they will turn left onto via San Rocco, new variant, SS400, traditional route.

It is underlined that all bus stops within the route subject to road works will be temporarily cancelled.

Two temporary stops will be made:

1. at the intersection between the SS400 and viale Clorindo Sullo, useful for trips coming from Avellino, as shown in the following image:

2. at the intersection between the “new variant” and via XI Settembre, useful in both directions, as shown in the following image:

The provision is issued following Ordinance no. 8/2024 of the Municipality of Castelvetere sul Calore (AV) which establishes the closure of part of the city’s urban center to vehicular transit, due to public works.
