Catania’s preparations continue in view of the play-offs which will see Zeoli’s team enter the scene on 14 and 18 May against an opponent yet to be determined. In the first leg there will certainly be no Marsura who has to serve the second day of disqualification

The countdown to the playoffs has just begun and Catania is training to be ready for the appointment. At the end of the championship, everything happened and the certainty of direct salvation only arrived on the last day. From this moment on, however, everything is reset. The promotion play-offs are a real lottery and Catania, only in the first round of the national play-offs, as top seed will be able to take advantage of playing the first leg away on Tuesday 14th May and then playing the return match at Massimino on Saturday 18th. To know the opponent we will have to wait for the developments of the first and second rounds of the group stage.
A good physical condition will be needed which has appeared to improve in recent weeks without taking into account the recoveries of Sturaro and Tello who will have further time to reach an acceptable condition in these days. The mental aspect will however be predominant. Catania has shown that it knows how to act in crucial moments and the fans hope that the circumstance can be repeated.
In the match on Tuesday 14th there will certainly be no Marsura who must serve the second day of disqualification. For the rest there should be no particular problems for Zeoli who will have plenty of time to decide on the best formation. Furlan should play in goal as he was ready for Benevento when he was called into action.
