“Rose Libri Musica Vino” is back with its 13th edition, promoted by the social cooperative Agricola Monte San Pantaleone and the University of Trieste, which will be held every Friday in May in the rose garden of the San Giovanni Park, a unique place that in 2015 it won the Certificate of Excellence from the World Federation of Rose Societies and is ready to transform itself into an original and stimulating stage.
This year’s edition will be special, because it coincides with two centenaries which are part of the identity of the event: the centenary of the birth of Franco Basaglia, thanks to whose revolution the San Giovanni Cultural Park went from a theater of horrors to a place capable of opening spaces of freedom where many different realities coexist, and the centenary ofUniversity of Triestewhich embellishes this manifestation of knowledge, ingenuity and creativity.
Walks between nature and history, meetings on the greenery, conversations around books, workshops for children, wine tastings and a new theater section are the elements around which the varied program of the 13th edition of Rose Libri Musica Vino will revolve.
During the five days of the event, in the rose garden (or at the Franco and Franca Basaglia Theater in case of bad weather), a different show dedicated to some prominent figures who have contributed to creating the long history of excellence, research, creativity and ingenuity of the University, with the collaboration of the main theaters of the city: Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia Il Rossetti (3 May), Hangar Teatri (10 May), Teatro Stabile Sloveno/Slovensko Stalno Gledališ?e (17 May), MielaBonawentura Theater (24 May), La Contrada Teatro Stabile di Trieste (31 May).
