Lamezia Terme – Lights and shadows of differentiated autonomy: it will be discussed next Saturday May 4th in Lamezia Terme, at 6pm in the Cloister of San Domenico on the initiative of ANDE, the national association of women electricians. The initiative coincides with the crucial and final phase of the parliamentary process of the so-called “Calderoli bill”.

After the introduction by the lawyer Mariannina Scaramuzzino, president of the ANDE section of Lamezia, institutional greetings are expected from the mayor of the city, lawyer Paolo Mascaro and from Dr. Aldo Ferrara, president of Unindustria Calabria. Then the interventions of Professor Annarita Trotta, professor of Financial Economics at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro and Professor Sandro Mazzitelli, professor of Public Law at Unical who will discuss with Professor Rosella Cerra and engineer Roberto Longo, authors of the essay ” 34% The history of a law for the South – The southern question in Brussels”. The work of the initiative will be moderated by the lawyer Silvia Gulisano, vice-president of the ANDE-Lamezia and concluded by the intervention of the national president of the ANDE, doctor Marisa Fagà.

“The initiative of the Lametine exponents of the National Association of Electrical Women – it is explained in a note – takes place in coincidence with the final phase of the parliamentary process of the Calderoli Law. After the approval of the Senate, the green light also arrived from the Chamber. Steps that are a prelude to the definitive approval of the law whose effects would not appear to be painless. Many are already rejoicing but many doubts and perplexities remain. The proponents of the law argue that this is a huge growth opportunity for the country. Those against and the perplexed instead fear that if Autonomy became a reality, as envisaged, there would be the risk that not only would the distance between the North and the South become unbridgeable, but also that Italy would be divided into many small republics”.
