NAPLES (ITALPRESS) – Napoli slows down Roma’s run. In the “Maradona” match, valid for the thirty-fourth day of the Serie A championship, the two teams did not go beyond a 2-2 draw, seasoned with goals and many emotions. It all happened in the second half: Dybala opened the ball (from the spot), the Azzurri turned everything around with Olivera and Osimhen (also from eleven metres), finally Abraham closed the match. The Giallorossi team had a good approach to the match and in the 6th minute they got their first opportunity with a header from Pellegrini, which ended just over the crossbar. The response from Campania was immediate: Osimhen finished twice in the space of a few seconds but in both cases was opposed by Ndicka. In the 20th minute Politano picked out Di Lorenzo in the penalty area but Svilar came out in the right time and blocked the full-back’s shot. The Campania team reacted immediately and after just five minutes they grabbed the equalizer with a long-range shot from Mathias Olivera, which found its way into the net also thanks to a deflection from Kristensen. The match heats up, with Osimhen and Pellegrini coming close to taking the lead for their respective teams. In the 80th minute there is a suspicious contact in the area between Sanches and Kvaratskhelia, so Sozza is called back to the VAR and, after reviewing the action, concedes the penalty to the hosts: Victor Osimhen goes from the spot and converts for 2 -1 blue.
One minute from the 90th minute, Daniele De Rossi’s boys finally find the goal following a corner with Tammy Abraham: the attacker returns to score after a year (with a headed assist from Ndicka) and sets the score at definitive 2 -2.
