Measure taken after the complaint from the mother and other family members
They had mistreated their mother and other family members for years, until the woman, exasperated by the constant verbal and physical violence, found the courage to report her two 29-year-old sons to the police.
For the two, an order was issued to remove them from the family home and ban them from approaching the places usually frequented by the offended people.
The order was issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Reggio Calabria Prosecutor’s Office after investigations by the Carabinieri of the Melito Porto Salvo Company.
The woman presented herself at the Carabinieri station in Condofuri San Carlo and reported numerous mistreatments carried out by her two children, consisting of a series of episodes of verbal and physical violence and harassment which continued for years according to regular and constant cadences. . The situation was also confirmed by the woman’s husband and another brother of the two 29-year-olds.
After the complaint, the carabinieri of the Condofuri San Carlo station listened to the offended people and those informed of the facts, gathering useful elements to substantiate the facts reported.
They then informed the Reggio Calabria Prosecutor’s Office who asked the investigating judge to issue a precautionary measure.
