Betting: how strange, for bookmakers Napoli is a clear favorite over Roma
Today Napoli faces De Rossi’s Roma at home. It was supposed to be a direct clash, but the defeat against Empoli shattered the European dreams of Calzona’s team. Mathematics still doesn’t condemn Napoli, but the five remaining games leave no room for further missteps. The Azzurri should make a run for it, starting this afternoon (kick-off at Maradona at 6pm) against a Roma team that is flying under De Rossi. 29 points in 13 games for the Giallorossi, Champions League pace, in step with Inter and Bologna.

The Italian victory is quoted at between 1.91 and 1.88 by Bet365, William Hill, Snai, Netbet and LeoVegas. Roma’s victory on the other hand is given at 4, only Netbet and LeoVegas give a few more chances (3.80 and 3.90). Draw quoted by almost everyone in the same way at 3.60.
For Bet365, the 1 is given at 1.91, the draw at 3.60 and the victory for Roma at 4.00. William Hill prices Napoli’s victory at 1.91, the x at 3.50 and the 2 at 4.00. Roma’s chances of victory increase according to Netbet: the 2 quoted at 3.80, the x at 3.60 and the 1 at 1.96. LeoVegas is also on the same line: 1 at 1.88, x 3.50 and 2 at 3.90.
De Rossi’s Roma more similar to Spalletti’s Napoli than Napoli
