Rotonda deservedly beat Fidelis Andria and achieved mathematical salvation. At Di Sanzo for the thirty-third matchday a fierce Fidelis Andria arrived after last Sunday’s victory against Manfredonia with a Rotonda team fresh from the narrow defeat against Nardo looking for redemption and salvation just one hundred and eighty minutes from the end of the championship. Giuseppe Pagana, coach of Rotonda, puts Fernandez and Attye on the field in search of the goal. Cajazzo returns to midfield on the right lane after the disqualification. Pugliesi with Scaringella and Draga’ in attack. The first leg ended with a 2-1 victory for Fidelis Andria with goals from Telera and Stambelli. For the Lucanians he shortened Fusco. Rotonda starts off decisively and attacks the Apulian team with long throws looking for the usual Cajazzo on the right. Then it’s Fernadez and Attye who challenge goalkeeper Baietti. Andria who can’t find open spaces other than throwing Cecere and Scaringella. Then in the 22nd minute Rotonda took the lead with Brunet finalizing an action started from midfield. The Apulians react with Draga, Padalino and Bottalico but to no avail. The equalizer came in the 39th minute for Fidelis Andria: Exchange on the Rotonda area line between Scaringela and Cecere, control of the latter and a violent shot with the ball hitting the left of goalkeeper Sakho. After two minutes of injury time we go to the changing rooms with the result a draw. Second half with Rotonda immediately attacking the central lines of the Apulian midfield. Pagana sends Bamba onto the field in place of Cajazzo and the result changes with the new arrival. Serious in the 48th minute carelessness of the Apulian midfield, the ball ends up at the feet of Attye who launches Bamba who frees himself from a defender and anticipates the goalkeeper Baietti with the ball in the net. Andria tries to react but its conclusions fail to materialise. The center forward from Andria Jefferson tries twice in the 75th and 88th minutes with the ball ending up over the crossbar of the Rotonda goal. Then comes Mirante’s chance who narrowly misses the third goal from the left in the Apulian penalty area. After five minutes of injury time it ends with a great victory for Rotonda which they fully deserve and win mathematical survival
