The values ​​of the Pisa Sporting Club told by “Arnold”

Pisa, 28 April 2024 – There is a new protagonist in the Nerazzurri shirt. And he is a champion at the tip of the pencil with special qualities, on and off the pitch. The Pisa Sporting Club is ready to bring Arnold onto the pitch, the famous character born from the pen of Philip Osbourne, protagonist of the first Nerazzurri-inspired comic book created for all the girls and boys who have these colors in their hearts. The colors and founding principles of the Pisa Sporting Club which in this work, created in collaboration with Almond Entertainment, wanted to convey and spread important themes such as respect, empathy, the fight against bullying and discrimination. An editorial project in which culture meets sport with two stories that will immerse Arnold and his teammates in our city and in the Nerazzurri world, making them reflect on the values ​​that a sportsman must have in his DNA. “Arnold and the Benchwarmers”, this is the title of the book designed not only by Osbourne, but also by Roberta Procacci (graphic creation of characters and props) and Matteo Deffenu (cover and illustrations. A work that will be presented on Thursday 2 May (5.30 pm) at the Teatro Nuovo in Pisa during an invitation-only event that the Pisa Sporting Club wanted to reserve for members of its football school and young footballers from the main youth football clubs in the area. The event, which will also establish a new and important partnership of the Nerazzurri club with the Teatro Nuovo, will see the participation of President Giuseppe Corrado, a representative of the First Team and the authors who will interact with the public present. “Arnold and the Benchwarmers” will then be available starting next month at the Pisa Store of Borgo Largo (via Oberdan); you can in fact receive it for free with a minimum spend of 10 euros
