ABRUZZO – The Free Time fair ends today in Bolzano, an event in which the Abruzzo Region is present with its own exhibition stand. During the four days of the fair, the Abruzzo stand had good success with both visitors and tour operators.
In this sense, the tourist offer presented by the Region has stimulated the attention of professionals and that part of the public who looks at free time as an alternative possibility to the traditional tourist offer. Field of tourism in which Abruzzo can have its say due to the diversity of the tourist offer and for having developed a series of services that do nothing but raise the quality level of the entire offer.
The Abruzzo stand, created in collaboration with the Abruzzo chambers, made illustrative material for the promotion of the territory available to visitors: from the protected areas of the two national parks, Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and the Maiella, and of the regional Sirente-Velino up to the guides on the small villages that represent the central point of the tourist offer that focuses on free time. Not only that, plein air tourism has also had great success, in particular that which refers to the Camper and Caravan sector.
In this sense, Abruzzo can boast a series of widely equipped Caravan and Camper points in the regional territory which represent a wealth capable of directing the choice of leisure tourists. It is no coincidence that the Region has prepared a map with all the Caravan and Camper points located throughout the regional territory, also indicating the level of services that the area can provide.
