Twenty-four years ago, like today, Monsignor Alessandro Saraco he said his yes. In fact, he was ordained a priest April 28, 2000jubilee year. The Parish of San Dionigi Basilica Cathedral of Crotone he is celebrating his parish priest and today, at the end of the Eucharistic Celebration at 10.30 am, the parish choir offered its best wishes to the priest.

Thank you for the example you are for us, you always listen with humility to what is said to you. Thank you for this time together and for the testimony of communion. Thank you for the simplicity of your homilies, in which you transmit so much strength to us through the love of God. Therefore, dear Don Alessandro, we all say “Lord, strength of those who hope in you, we entrust our parish priest Don Alessandro to you. Bless and protect his life.” We love you Don Alessandro».
The parish priest, during his homily, placed the emphasis on the Marian month that the people of Crotone are preparing to live, important days of prayer in which the city looks to Blessed Virgin of Capo Colonna, their protector. «It is a city full of emotion that awaits the image of the Madonna of Capo Colonna that we will bring here in procession on April 30th. The hearts of the people of Crotone are already starting to get excited, the city is filled with anticipation, and our parish community even more so. The month dedicated to her, our mother, is approaching. She too is our life.”
They will be days of sacrifice for the most important spaces, where prayer must not fail: «The Church of the Immaculate Conception is a place that will help us live the Marian month with greater closeness and familiarity – he told us yesterday at the end of the press conference for the presentation of the Marian month Don Alessandro same [LEGGI QUI] certainly the church of the Immaculate Conception is much smaller than the Cathedral Basilica and this will help us to experience even more familiarity between us and the Blessed Virgin of Capo Colonna”.
