“We certainly liked Lopetegui a lot, both for his working methodology and for how he presented himself in these meetings he had with the club. He didn’t seem pretentious, he seemed like a coach ready to share a path with the Milan. He put Milan ahead of teams that want him. I’m not sure that he is the coach of Milan, the ownership is however very sensitive to environmental reactions, so when today there was this anti-Lopetegui party that it came out very bombastic, I think it still led the owners to make further evaluations.
