Captain Bruno’s farewell is now definitive, and for those who still don’t believe it, there are photos of the Brazilian ace from Rio de Janeiro to prove it. Modena is then preparing for the revolution but is still putting the last pieces in place.
Among the market noises, the most insistent, although some still need to be verified, concern the dialogue with Lube Civitanova. The first survey was for Bottolo’s move from Civitanova to Modena, in an arrival that would have guaranteed the Italian change to Rinaldi, but it seems that nothing will happen. In the last few hours, however, the position of Adis Lagumdzija, in Modena in the 2022/2023 season, has been discussed, having moved to Lube this year and is under contract with the Cucineri, but not yet certain of remaining on the Adriatic coast. It seems that the Valsa Group, which is already covered in the role after the purchases of Buchegger and Ikhbayri, is on the verge of entering into a possible loan transfer of the Turk, if Civitanova decides to change strategies regarding the opposite and, perhaps, reset a renewal speech with Ivan Zaytsev. From a technical point of view it would be a step forward not only for Lagumdzija’s qualities but also for the fact that De Cecco and the Turk have been playing together for a year at Lube: the agreement would already be well established.
For now, however, this is only a distant market hypothesis. What is certain is that Luciano De Cecco and, even if the rumor has not yet been officially confirmed, Simone Anzani will arrive from Civitanova Marche, to form a trio with Giovanni Sanguinetti and Dragan Stankovic and guarantee Giuliani an all-Italian central department which, together with Federici as libero, will allow any type of formation change between spikers and opposites.
