What a spectacle this evening at the Penteada: fourteen Italians in the final, plus the 4 x100 mixed freestyle
The last day has often given Italy great satisfaction and even in Funchal there are the conditions for a grand finale. The Open Para Swimming European Championships will end today at the Complexo de Penteada, the thirty-one Italians fielded by coach Riccardo Vernole will try, in the final rush, to bring the medal table even higher. An Italy, therefore, that will try to further increase the haul of medals, the latter after 7 days has 22 golds, 20 silvers and 11 bronzes.
