The Bolognese Galleria d’Arte Maggiore opens its new space in Paris. An important milestone for a gallery known internationally for its commitment and participation in all art events in the world, and in particular for having been among the first to make the art of our Giorgio Morandi known in the East. In Paris on 24 April, the exhibition by Gio Ponti, an Italian architect and designer who dedicated his life to creating works inspired by the art of our country, was inaugurated in the new atelier. The exhibition includes works inspired by artists that Ponti held in high regard such as Massimo Campigli, Giorgio Morandi and Fausto Melotti. We will also admire works on paper created by Ponti himself, his daughter Lisa Ponti and his nephew Salvatore Licitra. The artist’s works fit harmoniously into the space of the Parisian gallery on Boulevard Saint Germain thanks to its brightness and warmth of the furnishings which coincides with the ideal vision of Ponti’s art, who was able to mix architecture and design in a perfect. The inauguration reception was attended, in addition obviously to Alessia Calarota (in the photo with Gianluca Kenzo Chiavari), owner of the Gallery, the Parisian beau monde including Fabrizia Caracciolo, David Textler, Vincent Darrè, Margherita Ruffo di Calabria.
